Antigua Sailing Week
April 28 - May 4
Antigua Sailing Week is the major regattas of the Caribbean season and one of the top five regattas in the world. Attracting more than 100 yachts from 24ft to 100ft, Antigua Sailing Week is renowned for being one of the best sailing and biggest partying regattas in the world.
For five days the yachts and their crew are challenged with a variety of courses along the southern coast of Antigua. Yachts tack close into the cliffs to get the best advantage from the wind shifts and ocean currents, providing a fantastic spectacle and close racing. Antigua Sailing Week’s reputation for consistent trade winds and challenging conditions pull in sailors from all around the world.
The lay day offers crews a day off and the chance to explore Antigua before the final two days racing around the buoys. After the action packed week, it all draws to an end with a final awards ceremony set in the historic Nelson’s Dockyard.
